    ac/dc power adapter needed

    where can i get hold of a power adapter?
    i want the type that is like a big plug, with an adjuster for the output voltage, range of about 3-12v would be ok

    anyone have any ideas?
    BTW, it need to be cheap

    we do loads at maplin

    deoending on how many amps you need it to put out

    we've got a 1amp dc power suppler on offer atm puts out 1.5-12v iirc for £4.99

    I need a 1.2amp 5v adaptor but I'm having lots of trouble finding one.

    maplin my man, we do a 1.25amp universal voltage psu

    i am not to up to speed with stuff like this
    what will a 1 amp unit supply?
    what do you need 1.2 amp for chris?
    how many amps does a 9v battery usually throw out?
