welcome to the forum.
nope you can't buy one any mk1 punto other than a sporting/GT in broom yellow unless it has had a respray but someone else.
Hi everyone
Just a quick one as I'm totally new to this forum.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Mk1 punto SX/ELX in Broom Yellow, and possibly how rare they are.
Lol, after writing my 55s N reg punto off with a blowout (went head on with a lorry) it's kinda a little too cramped inside now and had to go!!!! (get my drift....:s).
Really has to be a SX/ELX as I can't afford the insurance on a sporting, unless anyone knows where a 19 year old can get insured on a Sporting cheaply, lol!!
Really got my heart set on the Broom yellow, lol
Anyways, cheers Guys

Welcome
Group 7, I'm 19 with one accident only a month ago.
Absolutely love Mk1 Puntos, the old lady got one the week they came out, i learned in a Mk2 (eugh), and the fuel cut off in the punto saved my life a month ago in my accident, any other car of that age and i'd have probably wouldnt have been posting now.
Anyone know of any reasonable insurers for young drivers? Feel very discriminated against because of the odd twat who drives like a moron!!!
Are there mixed opinions on respraying, and are the results actually that good?
Try Admiral, some people say they are quite good, if not, phone around and compare.Originally Posted by mehstg

Seems like a very welcoming forum
as a starting point try using websites like www.confused.com or www.moneysupermarket.com, they check loads of insurers, may not be your best quote but it gives you an idea and a starting point.
