    Tv out Graphics card

    Im looking for a good graphics card, im not into gaming so it dosent havent to be a dogs dangles one, just one that has TV out on it, so i can watch Lost , etc... on the tv through the pc instead of encoding them for dvd.

    ive seen this one, is it any good?

    you need to check what slots you motherboard has on it. That card is PCI-Express which i very much doubt your board has. Most graphics cards on the market at the moment use AGP.

    also if you dont play games you dont need such a hi spec card.

    yer it is AGP
    Just looking around that site, all the tv out cards seem to be cheaper on PCI E cards.

    How come there expensive on AGP? I dont really wanna spend excess amounts

    TVs do have components integrated that process and display an image but they do not have a dedicated video card (GPU card) like computers often do. A computer monitor, without some component to process and display an image, one would see nothing when they connected devices.

    Modern ones do, especially Smart TVs which need a GPU along with a VPU to render, accelerate and decode/encode multimedia content.
