Anything other than a straight line with a good start you'll get creamed.

    I've got a 182 now after owning a GT3 for 6.5 years....

My GT3 was pretty much standard, but your's clearly isn't Unless you've spent a fair bit on the suspension setup, you would get battered by a 182 on anything but a straight road. My GT3 on stock suspension felt like a tub of lard in comparison.

Like for like though, I'd say you'd be able to pull a fair distance initially on a 182 - they don't do much until around 4k-4.2k, but once they come awake, then they'll pull strongly and cleanly all the way to the redline.

Not much in it in terms of stock torque. 145lb/ft (iirc) for the GT3 and 148lb/ft for the 182. The GT3 is only a smidgen lighter too.

The one's to look out for are the 172 Cups - especially if they've been fettled with. They weight feck all and would happily trounce a 182 in standard form. Of course, the rare 182 Trophy comes with approx £3k's worth of Sachs suspension setup. You would have to be a superb driver or have an amazing car to keep up with one of those on the twisties!
