my mum just got a new GTI for a company car, i took it for a spin last night and was told not to rip it cause the engine was still breaking in, hehe, boy did i rip it!!

quite a quick car it's a 2ltr turbo with all the extras and the stupid gear things on the steering wheel which i thought were terrible. the sports mode on the auto box was much better.
i didn't really like it overall cause to be honest i have always hated golfs of any kind, this one is a big old lump but it does shift.

i will have to have a go against it later in the week.

Good way to invalidate the warranty. Remember the ECU can record lots of things...

True, you are probably safe ragging the tits off a new engine from VW. Ignore me, just talking **** as usual, but I'm sure there are cars out there like this.

it did come straight from the factory and they said it needed running in a bit, but they probably all say that from brand new.
