XploitGT
You watched all of it?! It gets a bit boring tbh!
Thank you for your comment on my lines - they're never going to be perfect every lap!
As for timing, it wasn't a race. I don't recall anyone timing the laps.
As for the Skyline in the other vid, you're not allowed to overtake under braking or around corners, so straights are the only option. Once I'd overtaken him, I left him quite a way behind as I was a fair bit quicker under cornering and brakes. In a straight line, his barge was a bit quicker than mine so I wasn't going to get him there!
ah rite, i get ya,
ive never been to a track day like this so was abit unsure onthe rules..
i know you say it wasnt a race but still would of thought the laps would of being timed.
i noticed you were alot better on the brakes and cornering than the skyline, some of the lines you took throught the corners were absolutly SPOT ON!
You've never been to a track day, but you can tell me some of my lines were spot on?
Lol, how do you know my lines were right and wrong if you've never driven or known that track - let alone been on a track day?
It's a serious and dangerous sport - they don't encourage people to time it.

Not meaning to cause an argument but if I understand you correctly, you're telling me that because you have driven this on [Gran Turismo / some other driving simulation], you know what a good line and a bad line is on that track?Originally Posted by R3DMAN
Lmfao, that is class. Funniest thing I've heard for months.
I'd suggest you watching the clip that Jeremy Clarkson did when he took an NSX around Laguna Seca - thinking that he'd know the lines because he'd played it on the Playstation.
Hahah. Class.
no i think your misunderstanding me.
i know the track layout very well and i know by looking at a corner what the best theoretical line is to take, rule of thumb is be as straight as possible.
and no it wasnt GT4, and i have seen that particular topgear episode.
if you want i will rewatch the vids and tell you vid time so u can see the lines you were no so good with.
im not trying to say you was ****.
