    scooby P1

a friend of mine owns a mint scooby p1, he doesnt let many people drive it, but after letting him have a go in mine(god knows why, he blew the original engine in the p1, now replace with all brand new prodrive parts), he let me have a go.

well, what can i say, the car is just rapid, the turbo kicks in at about 4000rpm and it just keeps pulling the same up to 6500rpm(i changed gear at this point).

grips the road so well and it is a very nice drive.

    i want one.

when i got back into my car, it felt like a 1.1l fiesta

Whats the difference between a Scooby P1 and a scooby Type R?

Is the Type-R just the import?

Gear box and diff ratio's are different to cope with british roads, and type R is light weight jap-version, P1 engine is mapped differently to cope with poor Ron rating on uk fuel 95-99Ron v's Jap fuel 100-105Ron

Type R is an import also known as JDM (jap domestic market)

    Scooby's Rule
Only sold mine last week as fuel prices were killing me, 16mpg (40miles every £10) - kept her for a year - spent all my wages and savings on fuel, cost me about £8000 last year to keep her on the road (fuel,tyres,gearbox/servicing)
    Getting bike instead GSX-R600
