lol yea you know that i dont really like them too.
do they only come in one colour too
Take him to pod mate. 200bhp In your puto. Vs 212 In the focus i dunno the wieght but i reckon youll do ok. Then roll back to the mates with the times and tell them what engine you got. see the smile drop from his face.
at the end of the day he has 600 cc more on a sports tuned engine anyway.

sounds like u need a hgt running a full supersprint and a gsr kit that would blow him away tbh
The RS is super-fast, homolagtion for WRC nothing but hyper.
a friend of mine has one of these we took it to be tested for bhp and it had 217 at the fly wheel so there not all that and standard there realy laggie my old escort rs used to piss on him untill he took it to graham goode racing and spunked 5grand on it
in all fairness there not that quick.
on the way home from pod last week as soon as i pulled onto the 127 frome the m25 i gunned it and he followed suit, from about 40 some div on the on ramp but lucky for me ideal revs in 3rd and i was gone up to about 100 he had nothing on me.
i left sam behind though lol

Lets be serious here, the RS is in a completely different league to a punto.
The whole car is set up to be a track focused machine, far far different to the punto.
Don't get me wrong a modded GT might do ok (straigh line) but the RS is just a far far better package.
That's a daft comment ^The RS is super-fast, homolagtion for WRC nothing but hyper.
The RS isn't a track focussed machine.
It's a watered down version of what we were supposed to be offered (300+ bhp and 4wd, not 200 bhp and fwd in something heavy) in order that they satisfy several market areas.
Every report I've read and see says fwd is a silly idea for that car, that the interior is an embarassment, the car should have more power through 4 wheels, and the "clever" diff at the front just leans toward understeer.
I see no reason why a 180 bhp+ punto would have problems. It weighs a great deal more than a Punto in any event.
thats why he couldnt get passed me until circa 100mph.Originally Posted by jimma

on the straight a 170+ bhp GT will sit with a FRS as long as the GT has a good driver..
regarding handling, if the GT had some nice money spent on springs and shocks youll supprise him on the bends... yet again thats with someone who knows how to drive.
