Just wondering if any one had put a 20v coupe engine in to a punto mk1. If so did it cost a lot and how hard a is it to get hold of the engine, g/box etc?? What work was involved to get it all up and running?

Its not something i want to do now, (if i ever decide what to do)
Just thinking of possible paths i can go in the future. The easiest one i could go for is the common corsa 2l 16v red top, but wondered what could be done in the punto!

involves cutting dangerous amounts from the chassis.

yes once, the amount of cutting involved is shocking, search for the use 5POT
