As for what the thread is about the hgt is an na engine meaning smoother power delivery through the rev range. For example mine at 136 bhp and a seb 2 sporting an average 165. Its only 29 bhp difference when turbo is applying the presure
A hgt will then be able to keep up with a seb 2 for some time.
Like i said in terms of street cred cars keeping up with higher powers is in the eye of the person.
It could be 1 cm or 10m all depends on how the person views the performance of the two cars
Do the French have big willies?
As Rich/Harry Hill said....
I'd agree with Mawbs on this...HGT are surprisingly quick but a lot of mk1 owners put them down for the fact they don't have a blower fitted.
My HGT Abarth ran 138 on rollers...when running poorly
GT's and turbo's in general hav a good kick in the back from power delivery...HGT don't but they have a consistent power delivery throughout the rev range.
