Thread: I didnt think you could get a REAR STRUTBRACE, for a mk1 Punto ?

    but the puntos rear suspension is completely different from the front suspension. you have no top suspension mount.

    thats true, but a brace accross the back must improve rigidity, even if its not in the optimum place.

    True - The special edition Mitsi Evo Wagon [Estate version!] has a rear strut in the same place as it would be on a Punto. So they've given you this massive roomy boot then put a chuffing great bar across it.

    The Evo Wagon; admittedly the boot room is still massive with the brace there.

    Must bolt over the arches/inbetween, same as my Focus ST.
    Def made a difference on my ST when i fitted mine....

    Sorry to hijack, but what difference would a front strut brace make to a standard Mk1 1.2 sporting?
    Just wondering if it would be very noticeable and worth the money?

    on a punto more than likely as the chassis are not very stiff.

    Quite a bit, its finding one thats not hellishly expensive that is the problem.
