Touch wood I've had no problems yet. If the tint doesn't have an effect your beam projection/pattern they're legal.

They are covers, tinted. They can be removed in literally about 10 seconds.

Correct, as you do not need to be able to use indicators as a light source other than an indication of when you are turning.
The Police are very likely to pull you over if you have tinted headlights in the day, as they are obvious, but sepends on the Police where you live and the luck that you have.
