Had a go on a 360 today, it was like playing a game on my PC, albeit a game I've turned the detail down on, for no reason at all.
I dont think Sony are in any danger of Microsoft getting a headstart. The PS2 was always going to sell better than the orginial XBOX, and that was with Sony having the less powerful machine. Imagine what its going to be like when they on top hardware-wise too (for the geeks who are interested, I've got a Geforce 6800 Ultra nestling in my PC, the PS3's gpu is more powerful than two of them running in tandem).
Not that its all about graphics, of course...
