    1.2 Tuning - GSR!?!?!!?

I posted this on the other forum, but it got deleted, anyway can anyone help make sense of this tuning?

    Original thread here:

I know you deleted my question before, but can you tell me with:

    _________________
    1242 16v 89bhp/94lbft
GSR F10i, supersprint system, GSR/Red-Dot Modified Map, Raised Compression, 3piece valve cut

all those 'mods' you only have 3 more hp than the original 1.2 16v engine.

And such a fluctuation between models on RR would mean that some factory cars would get 89hp anyway.

I like the sneaky use of Sig, but I bet that gets edited soon enough.

To spend such an amount on valvecutting/compression etc I would be completely heartbroken! I spent £130 on a chip that has more than likely given me about 5/7 hp (11 claimed)

    General wear and tear?

    Rounded cam lobe?

    Faulty fueling?

Could be a million and one things.

Ticki got 77bhp (mk2a sporting) with a remap and green panel filter.

B with the work carried out it sounds like its hard a top end rebuild so I cant see the cam being at fault. Also its been remapped to fuel better as standard fiat maps are designed to save fuel which lowers performance.

It has more than 100ftlb of torque now, the ignition hasn't been altered at all on the remap and it is still underfueling.

It has taken the remap already available (a "set"-not live map for a standard car) and is working on the development of a new map specific to his car with red dot...

It is very quick on account of the torque delivery - I don't know the specifics of it though however I'm sure the owner will come on and state.

This car is far from finished on account of the poor mapping.
