But they have different software on them and different hardware codes.
I know the UK is yet to receive the software updates that the Japs and Americans have.
jap psp will play UK US or Jap games, but it will only play Jap umd movies.
US psp's are the same, they will only play US umd movies
UK psp's will play US UK and Jap games and umd movies
So if i buy a Jap PSP i can play any PSP game but only Jap UMD movies the english ones just wont work?!Originally Posted by southsider

Ive been asked to find out if a US version (someone is going to the States soon) will definitely play UK and US games and whether it will play UK (and US) movies?
Is there anywhere official whcih can confirm this?
Well both mines and punto 75x's jap psp play jap,uk and us games and movies so, unless our consoles are very special, they must be non regional.
