Punto Active Sport vs Clio dci

Replacing the 106 GTi with either one of these. Both 05 plate, similar price, well clio is about £500 more and a few more miles. Just dunno which seems best. Niether are in the colours below btw.

Punto 1.2 16v (80) Active Sport / 47mpg / 11.0 to 60 / ins6


Clio 1.5dci (80) Dynamique / 67mpg / 11.8 to 60 / ins4


Read some reviews, driven both, dunno which I prefer. Interior of clio is nicer, but I think I prefer the look of punto. Plus clio's are everywhere. But think the clio will lose less value.

Months payment? What are they? Will pay cash sonny jim. And if I wanted a quick car, I'd keep the 106 or get a quick car wouldn't I!! If I wanted rust, one like yours though.

Yeah, I prefer the look of the punto, but 67mpg from the clio is so tempting!! I am getting about 32mpg at the mo, so I would halve my fuel bill!!!!

And it's only slightly slower, and the insurance is also cheaper.

But you will have to look at the car everyday. And if you are not keen to start with it will only get worse..............

Seriously they are both nice. IMO, the dci needs little touches to make it better. Like lower, nicer wheels. But, the punto is nice as standard.
