    Talking My New Sporting 16v!

    Hi all

Picked up my new sporting 16v yesterday......

Ill post some pics when i get her cleaned tonight.

    Really chuffed with it!

Anyway, few quick questions to ask:

1/. My airbag light is on - how do i go about getting it switched off?

2/. There is a towbar on the car - How do i get that off?

    Thanks muchly!

Makes me a bit suspicious about the car's history mate...
Are you sure it HAS an airbag? Maybe it has been used after the accident when they had to tow it to the garage...

Anyway, one easy way to get that light of is to simply take the bulb out. Otherwise you need a Magnetti Marelli ecu reader to erase the false reading.
The towbar comes off simply by unscrewing it and tossing it the boot under the mat where its proper place is...

    WHAT :-? :-? :-?

OK, cant help on the light, but the tow bar will be bolted through the floor and probably along the rear panel behind the bumper, take the spare wheel out and look for any bolts with large square washers on, also look directly below the boot seal behind the trim for the same bolts

you will probably have to remove the rear bumper to remove the towbar.....
