    Civic Type-S

    What are your thoughts on this car and if you've driven one would you recommend it?

    Not bad cars, it’s a 2ltr with 160bhp. Basically the same as the Civic Si they get in the states (they don't get the CTR over there).

    Good engine, nothing special though and weigh a tonne!!

    Err only 200Kg heavier than a GT!

    And I bet most of you are running subs and amps in your cars. There's 40-50Kg right there on top of your kerb weight

    didn't know the civic sport was 2.0 160hp, thought it was a 1.6 or something. quite impressed with that

    I thought it was a 1.6 with approx 110bhp and a 0-60 of around 11secs, and i knew someone with one...

    Bet that was a 1.6 S(port)

    Type S (according to Autocar) is a 2.0l 16v with 158 bhp, does 0-60 in 8.5. Pretty respectable.

    i also thought that the civic sport was just renamed the civic type-s! with ctr body styling

    The 3 door cars have the CTR body kit and the CTR wheels are optional

    The grill is slightly different tho
