looks like its our aerial. the digital service in our area requires a wideband aerial. so we need to get one.
we've just got a freeview box.
however some of the channels do not come up (the normal terrestrial channels, 1,2,3,4,5)
we do get 38 other channels including radio stations tho.
read through the manual and it hasn't really helped, its very basic.

I had the same problem, couldn't get any BBC channels. I took it back and got a refund. How much is a wideband aeriel?
well i had a quick look on www.stuff4tv.co.uk/Aerials and they aint that much.

you could also try a booster as you may just have a weak signal?
signal strength is good on the box.
was checking some websites and came across the BBc website telling me the reasons why i cannot recieve some channels.
