In fact, whilst coming off a roundabout this morning toward Bedford from MK I left an RX8 to 100 as well, believe it or not.

I believe you aswell Jimma, I wasted a RX-8 in my Seb0 GT on Monday. I couldnt believe it and neither could the RX-8 owner 8)

Well I know there are two engine ratings:

1.3 litre 190bhp odd
1.3 litre 230bhp odd

Both are around the 7 second to 60 run, and supposedly quite quicker thereafter.

Its a common misconception that the mazda runs a 1.3 In fact, when you do the math, which i dont have to had currently, its more like 2.4.

I understand that, yes, but it's still classed as a 1.3 litre, and people know it as a 1.3 litre - but thank you for pointing that out

based on swept volume

RX7 2x654 (1308cc) and is taxed as such so 110 or 60.50 for 6months

RX8 2x640 (1280cc) is taxed according to CO2.


if you add up the actual volume of space the arm goes through it is higher but the swept volume is small
