    Aldon timing etc.

    Ok chaps,
    So on the post it says it starts at 8.30am.

    now is that gospel or are we likely to be standing aorund for a while waiting for it to start.

    essentially i'm 2 1/2 hours away and don't fancy leaving at 6 unless i have to.

    also, how long is each car likely to be "on" for and how many people are doing power runs? was it £15 a run?

    anything else i should know?

    runs took about 10-15 mins each last time.

    basically once it started, it was a case of stand about, have a chat, watch the other cars.

    a guy came round to take an order of bacon butties etc..

    not sure if you all have to 'sign up' at once though???

    according to the aa website its about 134 miles and the m1 is quickest (i hate the m1) ho-hum. heading off around 6 (but ireckon we'll be lucky to be moving by 7

    ok mooki, well ill convoy up there with you. james will probs tag along aswell. im gonna be gettin on m1 at junction 15 which is MK. could you give me a text when you are leaving your house, cos i reckon it will take you bout an hour to get up to there, give me a call when you at say junction 14 and ill get on the motorway and do a steady 50, till i hear the dump valves!!
