they look funky, just see what it goes like...
the thing is theres two many cars to choose from out there i find...
lupo gti, punto hgt, polo gti, golf gti turbo, ibiza turbo...
I'm looking for a car now that i'm selling the GT, i looked at a 172, but insurance is an absoloute joke (£2.5k +) so i started to look into something a bit more sensible. The C2 GT is only 110bhp, but its only grp 6 insurance, and you can get upto 43mpg. Personall i think the stylings really nice, and theres only 2500 of them made (250 of those were allocated for rally prepping) as a tribute to the 1600 rally series. I know it'll be no match for the GT in terms of performance, but it seems like a fun little car all round.
Ill find one to test drive before i make any solid decision, but it's looking like a decent choice at the moment. What do you lot think?

Unlikely to come down in price. German build quality, fast, classy, comfortable.Originally Posted by Goldie Punto

Ibiza Cupra is another option at about £4,500-5,000 for a mid mileage jobby.
yeah, the trouble is once you own a car like a GT, you're always trying to find something quicker to replace it with, but to be honest i'm not all that bothered about mad performance, as long as its reasonably quick. Im holding out for a few years until insurance for something like an ITR will be feasible.
Lupo's is for girls.Originally Posted by jimma

i stack in at a spritely 5' 10 and a 1/2". The Lupo is another option i guess, insurance and cost depending. My mum has a Lupo 1.4, and its really solid and deceptively roomy.Originally Posted by M80ARM
