thinking about getting new air filter to replce k&n found this one on ebay are they any good

Dont buy it, its crap.
I had the exact same one once, except It cost 20quid.
It's k & n style filter, with a stainless steel look heatshield. The heat shield is actually plastic, and gets quite hot.
I can get a wicked stainless steel mesh one for you. I got it on my GT and it feels a lot better. Two other members on here have got one aswell.
Its a got a vortex style end. I can get pics if your interested.

I cant find the exact one, but its ike this, and has another meshed entry hold on the top. So its not flat like a K & N.

Get a ripspeed filter from halfords. Cheap as, and are as good as k&n, pipercross etc.

they are very well constructed and have a twin cone arrangement so area is increased
