get a 106 gti over a GT
so we're all agreed then - each car has plus points and minus points.
Insurance isnt that important as i'm 25, but some reliability with lots of fun is!
the williams would be from a good mate, and i can never beleive how good the handling is..... getting old though
VTS is cheap for what it is, have seen nice W reg cars going for 3.5k

106gti, its abetter looking vts and has full leather
106 gti for 3.5k all day long....
look for a later one though, late R plate onwards as they have half leather and alcantara

ok, so it looks like a GTI might replace the VTS on the list - for some reason i thought they were more expensive
as for GtiR's, cosworths etc - i'll be doing milage in the alps - can't have something that's going to blow up and leave me stranded and skint!
what about a s14 200sx tourer then very good cars bulletproof engine etc

If your 6ft + then driving a 106 Gti or Clio will kill you. For 3.5k I'd possibly plump for an Ek9 Civic VTi. You get air con, half leather, ABS, EW, ESR, 168bhp and can drive it safe in the knowledge it won't break on you. Plus it's not a diddy car designed for women.
