Strange phone call from 0800 number..

Had a call from 08000839330. answered, nobody spoke.

called it back and it said 'welcome to the mobile phone upgrade company' etc...

what i'm wondering is if this is one of those £200.00 per minute lines that seem to be going around. I can't check my orange account online right now, so i'll try tonight.

Anyone else had this number pop up ?

i had exactly the same just the other day and called it back but couldnt be arsed so hung up i do think its a genuine upgrade service though

08000 are chargeable whereas 0800 and 0805 (I think its 0805) are free phone numbers

I get so many crank calls I just ignore them, leave your answerphone on and if its important they will leave you a message :-)
