i dunno, the man in currys said it was **** and it came through because norton didnt stop it.
This virus was noticed and reported 15 days ago, yet many antivirus solutions have been releasing patches up until yesterday.
The virus is harmless really, and actually quite good from a design point of view for those that understand the work involved. Its called W32.Bropia.M.

AVG is bar far the best AV prog I have used (and you cant complain at the price)
it's unlikely anything has happened without you agreeing to an install of some nature. of which time ad-ware has probably been the source of the problem, or a virus infection of some kind. Simply opening msn messenger doesn't spring open a virus without any prior underlaying issues.
you have to accept, download and open the attachment from a messenger contact - it is not all automatic. Even my 13 year old sister knows not to accept such files from messenger contact
errrr i got this, it ****ed my old computer properly, and my bro whos a proper pro with computerws says its basiclly wiped everything.... the computer was so ****ed it wouldnt even boot, was proper ****ed.........
beware when downloading the newest version...
