    The 1.4 8v polo is marginaly slower than a punto 75sx so i dont see the point of you getting a polo, even though its better built!

    The point of getting a Polo is because it is a better car, it's not all about speed.

    I think what the lad was getting at, was that you hacked in your Punto to buy a VAG car because you wanted a better car overall, and were 'no longer interested in speed'. Basically, I think he was calling your a3/tt/leon/passat/bora/octavia/fabia/ibiza/golf rep-mobile 'slow' ?!?
