    the GTI (in silver is a 2.0 litre) the GTi (i in red) is a 1.8 turbo, a lot quicker than the 2.0 litre form.

    I think he means the diesels and it's like this (for mkIV's anyway)

    Tdi 150
    Tdi 130
    Tdi 110
    Tdi 90

    To be picky the red DI's are also sometimes confused with 115hp editions. The mk4's can be made to around 190hp for ~£500 from a remap very easily, running 1.6 bar...apparently.

    150 standard are around 1.5bar i believe and the 130 1.3bar.

    If your looking at a 150 it's not that different to drive from the 130, unless you go down the route of the 25th anniversary. Then a few more things are improved.
