    Are these quicker than a standard GT?

    The only new Golf thats quicker than the GT is the new 2L Golf GTi.


    As for the older models, only a GT TDI 150 or a remapped GTi would most likely give a GT a lot of trouble in standard form but only from about 60+ id imagine.

    sorry to sound dumb but i want to know.

    if the i on the GTI badge is RED, does that mean something different?

    It's something to do with power, for example GT (I - in red) would be 90bhp, G (TI - in red) would be 110 bhp etc. Im not sure 100% what the BHP's are but i thought it was 110, 130 and 150, dont quote me on that tho lol
