Ive hard that there is no tuning parts for these engines

    Anyone know if there is?

I may have to considre the new Teg R on Import. I had a quote of 12k for a Teg with 10k and a grade of 4.5

I think these cars are 240bhp

    Accord Type R, 212bhp, 2.2 VTEC
JDM DC2 Teg, 205bhp (ish on UK fuel) 118lbft torque (hence VTEC's poor torque repuation)

Are you sure about that figure for the DC2 Teg ?

1.8 Vtec, 187hp I always thought - but gods finest handling fwd car

    JDM DC5 is IRO 220hp on 102RON fuel isn't it ?

ATR - Dale, good choice in car. I believe one of the rawist Type-R's made. A gentlemans cruiser I think.

DC2 Teg is 210bhp on Jap Fuel Matt.
DC5 Teg is 220bhp on Jap Fuel

187bhp applies to the Euro and US version of the DC2, not the JDM version. They always keep the best toys at home.

I'm sure ATR's use the same 2.2 engine as the prelude VTi although it's de-tuned to 183bhp in the prelude

    And rightly so.

Didn't know there was much of a difference between the JDM and UKDM DC2's. Just goes to show, I was wrong..... it happens

Fairly sure it's the same story as the EP3 fella, Jap engine are tuned for peak BHP, Euro versions have more torque less power.
