i love it now i have a i gig card its like having an ipod, video camera, and normal camera all in one.

because it includes bluetooth capability i can just send any mp3's i want straight to it, imo its the best phone on the market

    I love this phone

    easy to use
    logical
    screen is big enough
    buttons are good size

    downside:
The middle button takes a bit of getting used to as you can sometimes press up or down instead of pressing it in.

and the camera could do with a zoom

It is a good phone and does everything you need, but it doesn't excel at anything. The screen is tiny, camera is average, and apart from that it's a normal nokia. It is soon to be outdated (kinda has been anyway) as it's been out for ages now.

Personally, I think there's much better phones on the market.

Yes there are. Hundreds actually. Mp3 is the norm now. As is video. Upgradable memory is great, but you have to pay for it. Why not get a phone with a large memory to start with? Like 96mb? Plenty for a phone, unless your a geek who fills it with ****.

The 6260 replaced it last year.(although this was a symbian phone) The Nokia 3230 will be the next equivelant spec replacement, but with Nokia, they do so many models you have such a large choice. The 6630 is the best Nokia on the market at the moment. Again it's a symbian phone, depends what you need it for really.

I got mine in May last year, but for some reason my contract 'doesnt exist' so I can actually upgrade to a new phone at any time.

But IMO there is nothing worth upgrading to from the 6230 at the moment.

The 6230 isnt as good camera as the D500, but its better to text on, which is primarily what I use my phone for, calls are the same as with any other phone, LOUDSPEAKER is ESSENTIAL and theres a lot of phones that dont have that, the 6230 does.
Video is not amazing quality, but its certainly worth having! And can get some funny moments captured on cam! Upgradeable MMC card for more storage.

Maybe in a couple of months another will come out worthy to upgrade to.

The 6260 is ugly, and its a flip phone which is a big no no IMO.

Best all round phone out at the moment IMO.
