    Toyota Starlet GT Turbos'

    What do you lot think of em?

    Been looking on autotrader lately and some of them do look nice! 1.3i Turbos' and do 0-60 in about 6.9 secs standard. Quite impressive really!

    they are good little cars, jap so go on forever! light and quite tuneable

    A mate had one, they are fast little things, but look absolutely shite IMO. So if you dont mind the looks...

    Not my cup of tea either, but know someone who's thinking of buying one (they do appear to be quite quick). Be interesting to see how the gt stacks up next to it.

    i'd really like to know how a Punto GT compare against a starlet GT in a straight line or 1/4 mile .. heard a lot about these cars but never came across one

    I think they are a fair bit quicker than the punto tbh. This ones forsale at the mo mind! lol

    selling my starlet GT i have got in mind another project car but think it is time to sell this car it is a excellent car the acceleration is excellent and the power is unbilvable 273@the wheels and i have done a 12.808 1/4mile @ 115mph the engine has done 49,000 mile roughly and has been well serviced body work is in excellent condition thousands spent on this car got all recipts to prove aswell the spec is :

    wheels - superleggras with toyo tyres 15inch wheels
    suspension- is tein ha kit

    engine -
    T3 roller bearing running 1.65bar
    big front mounted intercooler
    2mm head gasket
    excedy clutch
    cusco 1way limited slip diff
    cusco oil catch tank
    sacha exhaust system
    HKS spark plugs
    apexi AVC-R
    power FC fully re-mappable
    head gas flowed ported and polished
    big cams in not re-profile
    uprated valve springs
    smaller radiatior
    and fan
    all intercooler piping bein done by rc developments

    this car has been set up of RC developments and put together and if you want any more information about the car you could ring clive at RC developments and he will tell you what it goes like because he maped the car and said it has got lots more to go

    Yeah, wouldn't stand a chance against that one, 12.8 is v rapid, but wouldn't imagine they are all that heavily modified.

    Nah didnt mean comaparing it to that one! lol

    I think they are quicker than a Punto as standard. 6.9 to 60 and very low 15's as standard down the 1/4.

    Pre-seb at 16psi I tailed one on a dual carriageway and he couldn't shake me! That was with my GT!
