a friends R34 Vspec done 188mph, very late at night on the errm Autobahn
he had the Apexi limit 5th @ 5k so 200 once set up would be possible.
fcukin scary i tell thee, even that late at night on the Erm Autobahn.
You need a LOT of power to crack 200mph in a skyline because it's not the most aerodynamic car
It has approx. 800bhp I believe. I've had that vid for about 2 weeks.
Silly or not, if you can do it, then why not ?
I don't think he tuned it that much so he could nip to Tesco's and back on a Sunday.....

Mixed feelings here mate, but the phrase 'Time and a place' spring to mind.
Don't get me wrong, i am not the most law abiding person when it comes to speed limits, and i have seen just shy of 160 on a public road, but it was late at night/early morning, so very minamal traffic.
Thing is it is dangerous but when your driving you get the urge to drive faster sometimes. However if I'm a passenger in someone's car I shite meself if they go over a 100 dont care where it is! It's weird! But Oh yeah that Skyline is a monster!!
It's because if you're a passenger you have no control over the car, but when you're driving it you can do whatever you want.
Yeah I figured it was something like that. I wonder if it's the same with flying? I hate flying, always think something's gonna go wrong! Wonder if it would be different if you were actually flying the plane?? Hmmm!
