    Bonnet Insulation....

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before or not? But here goes....

Have noticed looking at different pictures of GT engine bays, that some people have bonnet insulations and others don't?

    Does it make any difference?

Just wondering, as mine never came with any.....

    Cheers

I ripped mine off and in all honesty noticed no different in engine temps. There was a slight increase in engine noise while in the cabin, but I dont think that's much of a benefit what with the GT's clickety engine...

As long as it dosen't effect anything. Coming up to the winter months you see, so thought l would ask.

Don't mind it being gone, get more engine, induction and Dump valve noise without it l guess??

    It makes a BIG difference

    think about it

if you had to sleep under a bit of tin in this weather would you want to do anything in the morning??? NO

But if you slept under a nice warm 'insulated' bit of tin, youd be ready for anything :-P
