    I turned 19 in october and got a years no claims and im paying £1579 tpft in my own name through Norwich Union!

    I'm 19, 0 years NCB, under my mum's name with her full NCB I'm paying £1500/year FC. Cheshire postcode.

    im 19 got my gt when i was 18 on my dads policy it is 1500 fully comp in south london. thats with barclaycard direct.

    im gettin ripped big time then...im 23 and pay 238per month for third party F+T

    i bought mine at 19 and couldnt get insured anywhere under my dads name till i was 21 so had to do it on mine still not many people wanted to know cheapest i could find was £3000tpft ! now 20 the cheapest one i got is 1900tpft from elephant.

    That is pretty mad because i'm only 17 with a GT3 and i'm paying £2300 on my mums fully comp.

    17yr olds shouldn't be allowed to drive anything over 60bhp, not matter how much mummy pays for insurance

    I was pushing the boat out with a 50bhp 3 cylinder 12v, 1.0l Corsa Breeze at 17 I thought..... Times must be changing Phill
