    Unhappy GT - Leaking Sunroof......

Have had water starting to come through from the drop down panel where the manual opener is for the sunroof up by the interior light and controls.
Just wanted peoples opinions or experience on it.....

Is it a common problem? Or has the seel just given way?
Could it possibly be the ariel causing the leak?

    Cheers

Ive got the same problem on mine mate. The water gets through the airiel and into the interior light casing. It builds up in there when its rains heavily and then drops down from the casing. Very annoying!
I think its a common problem though mate, just seal the airiel back up

    Just thinking....

I'm gonna have to buy a great big fcuking tube of sealent, just to go around the top of the ariel???

Do they do smaller ones? Or actually, how much are they roughly??

I had this problem, I fitted a smaller bee-sting style ariel replacing the standard one, and the fitting was slightly out, so water was getting in.

Trip down to B&Q for some gutter sealant, (something like £4-£5 for a tube), and sealed the bugger up. No more water ingress at all.

You can get tubes which can be re-used, (they have a small screw cap). Just in case something else needs sealing up.
