Urgent Advise Needed!
Well this has put on stop to tonight's plans.
Backing out the drive, as you do a point turn to face down the road, my steering has gone up the wall.
Never worked on power steering before, what could be a cause to the symtons below:
-Very harsh snap feedback through the steering wheel when on 1/2 to a full lock, no matter what the speed.
-Makes a loud cracking noise if giving it a bit more gas when turning a corner.
This feedback and noise lasts as long as it does to snap your fingers, Done nothing today, or even the last week that could be the cause. Only driven it up 3rd so about 25mph, fine on straights, corner feels like the axles gunna snap HELP!

Power steering pump.
Have you changed the belt lately? Or checked the fluid level?
