Peugeot 106 GTI
now i know these dont compare to the gt, but was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with these? as i am looking at getting one as this is the cheapest option for me to get a hot hatch. are they a fair match with the sporting or come close with the gt?

Had a few debased about the GTI recently, according t my mate who test drove one few weeks ago, they would piss on a GT. But looking at the figures I just dont see what would give them an advantage.
Interesting to find out anyone whos dabbled with one in the past.

mate had a lovely one, scorpion, piperX thats all and it was very nippy, used to pull my GT when i had similar Mods but with any Turbo, when they are re mapped they gain far too much for the likes of the 106 to keep up.
they are canny top end though. handled well too

A standard GT should be quicker in a straight line but wont be round corners!

very nice car and quick
i would say the gti's are a better car than the gt

ditto
They are probably better all-round cars than the GT but not as fast in a straight line

Don't be fooled by the book figures as they are taken with a full tank, ect.
Very quick cars and handle like go-carts!
Its the acceptable version of the VTS.
