Unless you plan on hot wiring everytime you wanna drive it, i'd say keys are quite important!
Blue keys, normal keys, red key, master key.
what do these do and are they important ? when buying a punto?

yes VERY important. The red key is the most important, you should never use this really to drive the car as if you use it too much it messes with the codes in your ECU or somthing like that. You can't get any keys cut (should you ever need to) by just using the blue key, you have to use the red key to do this, again cuz of the codes in it. If you don't have your red key then it can cost upto £600+ to sort out. Always ensure your red key is safe. Im sure someone will be able to enlighten you alot better than me but this is what i know.
Some of the early puntos don't have em no.
i remeber now my mates car has a blue key and i was lyk wtf!! lol pardon me for being dim!
is there anyway of telling whether it should or not?Originally Posted by xzibit
