    GOOD NEWS!! Computer is fixed. Thanks to everyone who has posted here, you've all been a great help. My spybot 1.2 found no spyware at all, however, the upadted version spybot 1.3 has found...wait for it...175 problems, majority of them fixed and ive not had a crash for about 18 hours now. Well happy.

    In hindsight I blame Kazaa, now its gone pc's great. It must have swamped my pc with spyware.

    Get Kazaa Lite, and upgrade to XP Service Pack 2 damnit! It introduces pop-up blocking and a lot of security fixes to IE6 to make your computer safer.
