Hard drive >.<

Im in the middle of making my new computer and have hit a little problem.

Went to put the hard drive in and the screws dont line up, there are little wings under it, should I just bend these so I can get it to line up?

Sorry about the bad quality of the pic its off my phone.

Never seen that before, and I usually have cases with individual holes not one huge long one.

Get some pliers and bend the ****ers

Even my new rig has problems running Doom 3 at respectable quality and res, but then I realised I'm probably not gonna be playing it that much after I complete it (mods and games using the D3 engine won't be out for at least a year, give me a chance to save up)

It runs Battlefield Vietnam VERY nicely compared to this shitbox

Stick the screws in at an angle. They may not sit flush but

A) Who cares, it will be INSIDE the case so not visible
B) It will hold the HD In place.

Im wanting everything to look good as well as half the case is perspex (sp?)

Not too up on the latest games, but if you get yourself say,

XP2700+
512MB DDR400 Ram
And at least a R9800 Pro card

It should play it fine mate!

I've had the above spec for nearly a year, and I dont expect to have any problems with any games.

I needed a better pc than the crap im using now just so slow, so went for this:

3 ghz prossor
1gig+ gig ram
256 meg Gforce gfx card
120 gig hard drive
Only cost me £400 so thought why not.

Compered to what im using now:

1.4 ghz
64 meg ram
30 gig hard drive

Mate, what 3ghz processor is it? Pentium4?
That geforce gfx card will let you down big time, they are ****, you should go ATI instead, far far better.

Go for a S-ATA hard drive as well, I have 2, a 120GB & a 80GB.
