    That's true for all the ADSL providers, as they still have to pay BT the fees to use their network. All the ISP does it provide their own routing hardware for all their customers.

    Blueyonder and NTL have their own cable infrastructures and as such can charge what they like. Also if anyone goes wrong it is easier for them to fix, and customers are more aware of any problems 8)

    but the lines probably belong to bt anyhow lol.

    Its not broadband with a cap. Simple as that.

    Having said that, I can sometimes download way over that limit and I've never heard a thing from them.
