1.8hgt --> 2.0hgt

anyone know of an attempt at boring out the 1.8 to 2.0? the cylinder walls arent that heavy in them but wouldnt take much to add 200cc capacity across 4 cyllinders. has it been done before? obvious advantage is its alot lighter than the coupe lump

i see youre from lalaland........honestly youd be making a rod for your own back here what with the parts and labour required. if you go for a 2.0 anyway id go the whole hog and get the 16v turbo. heavier still but the power uplift would soon melt any concerns about a drop in performance or handling....
