get close block not open block pattern as they can become noisy quickly.sounds like bad wheel bearings!
My tyres' tread is getting a bit low, and I'm looking to replace all four with a brand that's on the lower end, in terms of price, but will hold up for quite a while.
I'm sure if I go with a well-known brand I'll pay for that, so I'm just looking for some obscure brands that are actually pretty good. Any suggestions?
I'm looking for tyres I can use year-round.
I was looking at prices over on Tyre Shopper, and they say they will beat anyone else's prices. So, maybe I can get a really good deal out of this?
Send some suggestions my way if you can, I'm going to keep looking.

I've got Jinyu tyres on mine which I find brilliant. They were only around £30 each from memory, plenty of grip year round and have lasted a silly amount of time imo, they've done well in excess of 14,000 over the past 18 months and show barely any signs of wear at all. They are a fairly hard compound, the only thing I would say is I do find them a bit noisy, but if you're going for a budget tyre with decent grip that will last for a while I would recommend them, just have to get past the noise, i think they are rated at 75db.
