If you can't afford the high octane stuff every fill, it's worth using it every third fill, coz the extra detergents help reduce carbon buildup etc. At least that's what a Porsche engineer once told me

Always use high octane super unleaded, can really feel the benefits from it on full boost and on cold early mornings but as kas said if you cant afford it every time at least try now and again to reduce carbon build up

I have always had my car on v power and mapped on v power , however I notice there isn't so many shell garages around so can be a pain to try find shell garage when my car is back on the road and is mapped I will be going on bp'a high octane fuel they are both just as good
