Hi I'm looking at buying a punto gt over the next few weeks is there any thing I should be asking or looking for when buying and there seems to not be many about for sale any good places to look

Not always.
I had an advisory on a small patch of rust....
When I removed the skirts and interior and started with a hammer its was a major
job, if you can, remove the plastic along the sill and have a peek.
