    Does anyone know anything about acid dipping IE alloys?

    mighty toxic stuff that i do know. seen the guys on wheeler dealers dipping alloys. think they leave them in for 4 hours at least and the old finish just falls off.

    why do you need to know about this anyway - you arent thinking of dipping them in a big bucket of acid are you?
