    Power Steering Pump

My spare makes just as much noise as the old one......

Where can I buy a new one from short of paying Fiat prices?

ECP dont stock the GT pump
    No joy with Shop4Parts
One OE pump on ebay from Italy at £200
Found a new one for £50 with free delivery on fiat dealer parts but he is out of stock.
Spotted one used one for £30 on ebay but dont really want to risk fitting another used unknown part.....

any other shops/websites/italian/fiat sites worth me checking out?

if it's brand new I would be interested if they have more in stock! If not I'm looking at the saxo route I have seen a few people have done it in the past.

Found them at GSF....try this mate

    http://www.gsfcarparts.com/catalogse...+steering+pump

£132 brand new with a warranty but you also get £72 refunded for your old pump so its only £60 - not bad IMHO

PS; you need to swap the brackets and pulley over from your old pump......easy enough.

Collected the new pump. When I got to GSF the first pump they brought out in a Delco box wasnt correct. the outlets were handed differently so that the union hose would have had to be fitted opposite to where it normally goes and obviously the pipe wont stretch round or physically fit with the inlet in the way. It also weighed an absolute ton.

i need to make sure the pipe union matches the pumps thread....

the second one they brought out looked a bit different but its only the back cover which is a large blanking plate held in by a C-clip. everything else is in the same spot as the OE pump including the bolt holes for the brackets. £60 absolute bargain-if it faulty back it goes.

Not sure when it will get fitted but i'm waiting for another few days of half decent weather......
