The way I see a gasket is a bit like a fuse in a plug its in place so not too cause damage too other components and the first sign of a problem it will blow, id rather a gasket blow than a more expensive componant hence why I use a standard gasket
Interesting read regarding the head gasket, if I can be of any use beau I work for a fist dealership. Always happy to be of any help if you ever need it.
