    Custom poly bush wishbone mounts

Brought some spares the weekend off a rally cross mk1 punto 1.2 n/a 160bhp an thought if share with you these custom mounts, no expense was spared on the car, but only managed to get a few parts

As you can see they have used the normal poly bush ones that go on the front of the wishbone aswel as the back. It using the same front ones

I raised the possibility of whether those polys could fit the other end of the wishbones sometime ago and nobody was interested mate......seems like a good mod to me but one word of advice.you can stiffen up the front but as you cant do anything at the back you get a serious imbalance in handling at high speed corners because the rear ARB is too thin.

Beasty! CNC's mounts look slick as fook!

    Where did you find these?

Clarkster is right, the rear should generally be stiffened up more before the front.

ooh not sure id like solid rear mounts. have you driven on them? would do wonders for the handling but the vibration and noise could be painful.......

A lot of people had these solid mounts on the coupes. The rear bushes look very similar and poly bushes are readily available for rear beam. Wonder if they would fit.

Got them off a bloke that was breaking a rally cross mk1 punto, but was only a 1.2, he said no expense was spared on it, shame it only had gt arb's
Yeah in wondering about the vibration too but it's a weekend toy so wouldn't bother me if handling was a lot better with them

Ah if they use them on coupes an poly bushes look the same hopefully there fit or mod to fit
